WHAT NOW... ?

Hi again. Well, guess what? It's officially the end of the year; which means that school's out, and summer has finally begun. Let's just say, I'm a little heartbroken. I'm not returning to the same school next year, which really sucks. But then again, I'm kicking off new adventures and journeys, so you can miss me, but just don't worry. For those of you who are reading this, don't fret, I'll see you all again very soon, and hopefully I'll keep in touch with a lot of you. For now, I'm not sure where I am going, or who I am going to meet, or even become, but just know that I'm thinking of all of you.

BKLYN > MANHATTAN

Well, today was fun. It was Journey Day today; which basically means we chose an activity to do over the course of the day, with a teacher (or three), and other students who chose the same. I chose to go "Between Brooklyn and Manhattan" because, well, brooklyn. We walked the Brooklyn Bridge, got pizza, and rode on the carousel. [Because, well, you know, we're kids still] ... kind of.

Although the sun wasn't very good to us, (*cough* it was *cough* 92ยบ fahrenheit), we still had a great time. There was a lot of picture taking, pizza eating, and getting wet along the shore. Plus, the shade and the few breezes really was quite lovely while it lasted.

You may not realize it, but there are many shades of blues and greens and grays in Brooklyn. Because of the East River, there's blue waters and little tides. And the green, well, there's just more trees in Brooklyn. At least more trees than downtown New York City (which is a pity). Hah I can rhyme. Oh well, I'm exhausted. It's definitely time for a nap ... or a movie, at my friend's house. (Which I am looking forward to).
